Zemfira is preparing to perform in Yerevan!

Zemfira Ramazanova grew up in a family of doctors from Ufa. She became acquainted with music at the age of five: first, it was piano lessons, then vocals. However, her passion for art was shared with her passion for basketball for a long time. Zemfira devoted nine years to this sport and even headed the Russian junior girls' team. In October 1998, fate brought her from distant Bashkiria to the musical Olympus thanks to the group "Mumiy Troll" and their record label, who chose her demo among many others. They were looking for extraordinary talents and discovered a bright performer from Ufa. Shortly before the release of her debut album, on May 10, 1999, Sergei Chernov from the "St. Petersburg Times" predicted that Zemfira would become a new star of Russian scale. These words came true: soon the singer really became the voice of an entire generation, conveying in her songs the experiences of the youth of both Russia and the world.

Critics have long recognized Zemfira's mastery of subtly conveying emotions through complex images in songs, and her talent is admired. The singer's latest album, "Zemfira from Luka", recorded together with her nephew, is distinguished by its brevity and depth of content. The singer's previous full-length work was released in her homeland in 2021 under the title "Borderline". This album was the first in eight years and caused mixed reactions from both critics and fans.

The work on the album was carried out by a team of professionals: the sound was handled by Joshua W. Smith, who collaborates with Jack White; he worked on four tracks of the record. Another four songs were processed by Jason Thomas, known for his work with such artists as "Royal Blood", "Slaves", "Daughter", "M83". The producer of the project was Kendrick Lamar, an influential representative of modern hip-hop.

Today, Zemfira is actively touring around the world, completely devoting herself to music and in no hurry to return to her homeland. The most important thing for her is to create and perform her songs, so the place of residence is not of decisive importance for the star.

The concert at the Razdan stadium will be a unique opportunity to hear both new compositions from the albums "Borderline" and "Zemfira from Luka", and time-tested hits of past years.
